Moving home is very stressful and all too often filled with emotion. We take care of the practical side and we’re also on hand to calm and soothe, taking the emotional strain for you.
There is no need for you to see your home empty; we take care of everything so you can remember it as the lovely space it was, with all your memories intact. The first thing we do is sit down with you, free of charge, to discuss your move and create a moving plan, whatever your circumstances.

We are used to helping clients who are moving due to divorce, ill health and other stressful situations, or to release equity. Or you might just be moving to a new area to be nearer family or the best schools. Read more about our services for seniors here.

Across the road or around the world, upsizing, downsizing or escaping to the country, whatever the size and shape of your house move, we can ease the strain by assisting you with all aspects of the move, known or unknown.

Most clients pay by the hour for our service as they want unlimited support and de-cluttering. For those who want to know exactly how much it will cost, we can create a package for you. We can also offer remote support to guide you through for those looking for a cheaper option.

We can also help you settle into your new home with our after-care service

In fact, if it needs doing, we’ll help you do it. We always recommend we are there on the day to help; we can see things that could happen before they do and manage the right outcome immediately. Whilst most moves have the same list of tasks, every single move is different and we treat each one differently and with the care you, your home, your belongings, and your family deserve.

This is a great service available to those who live far away from us but would still like to access our years of expertise.  It’s popular with downsizers and their adult children who often buy the package for their parents.  We provide:

  1. Eight guides / checklists for general planning, clutter-clearing, what to do on exchange, changes of address and how the move day process works. 
  2.  Four  x 45 minute Zoom, Skype or telephone sessions to keep you on track (can include help with filling in property information forms as required by law and what they really mean).
  3. Advice on engaging all the professionals you will need to help with your move (estate agents, solicitors, mortgage brokers, removal companies, surveyors etc).

All of this for just £300.   

Additional support sessions are available at a per session rate, so if you would like a weekly catch-up to keep you on track, we can give you an option for that.

Additionally, we can help or actually carry out many of the tasks on your behalf at an hourly rate.
